This position is supporting the American Health Holding organization.


POSITION SUMMARY
Recognized as an expert and a leader throughout the IT community. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, strategic technological opportunities and requirements. As an individual contributor, this position has no direct line management responsibilities but is a major contributor to the success of mission critical, complex, typically large, often enterprise-wide major architecture projects and innovations. Participates with and provides expert technical consultation to senior IT management strategic planning groups.

Specifically, the Senior Data Architect / Modeler will work to manage data from multiple sources (claims data, lab data, etc.) and gather it in a way so it can be used functionally. This role will also work hands-on in transforming the data for use in long-term analysis.

Required Skills:
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
? Extensive database modeling, design, development, and maintenance experience (including developing dimensional databases and data cubes, schema design and development)
? Ability to design unit and system test plans, and execute testing
? Excellent communicator both verbally and written with coordination and facilitation skills.
? Ability to multi-task and complete in a timely manner multiple assignments.

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES
? 5+ years in database development experience including SQL Server 2008/2012
? Experience developing SSIS ETL packages supporting database to database activities
? Proven experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
? Skilled in both Data Warehouse and Transactional databases
? Extensive Stored Procedure development
? Strong T-SQL programming skills
? Extensive database administration experience
? Experience with UML (Universal Modeling Language)

DESIRED SKILLS
? Experience in Medicaid or the Health Insurance industry is a plus
? Experience with Databases used in a Data Warehouse / Data Mart environment
? Knowledge of Web programming preferably with C#.Net and .Net Frameworks 4.0 and higher
